What you can report
This page is for reporting abuse involving websites, servers, or IP addresses hosted on the HostBrr network. Typical categories include:
Spam & Unsolicited Mail
Bulk email, mailing without consent, or spamvertised sites originating from our network.
Phishing & Fraud
Fake login pages, brand impersonation, scam shops, or other fraudulent content.
Malware & Botnets
Malware distribution, command & control servers, exploit kits, or compromised hosts.
Network Abuse
DDoS attacks, port scanning, brute-force attempts, or other hostile traffic from our IP space.
Copyright & Trademark
Infringing content hosted on our services. Include proof of ownership or authorization to act for the rights holder.
Illegal Content
Child sexual abuse material, terrorist content, or other content illegal under Danish or EU law. These reports are prioritized above all others.
What to include in your report
The more evidence you provide, the faster we can act. A complete report includes:
- The exact URL, domain, or IP address involved — not just "your network".
- Date and time of the incident, including your timezone (UTC preferred).
- Evidence — relevant log excerpts, full email headers for spam, screenshots, or packet captures.
- A short description of what happened and how it affects you.
- Your contact details, in case we need clarification. Anonymous reports are accepted but may be harder to act on.
What happens next
Triage
Every report is reviewed by our abuse team. Reports involving illegal content, active phishing, or ongoing attacks are handled first — typically within hours.
Investigation
We verify the report against our own logs and, where appropriate, notify the customer and give them a deadline to remediate.
Action
Depending on severity, action ranges from content removal to immediate suspension of the service, as set out in our Acceptable Use Policy. We cooperate with law enforcement where legally required.
Due to privacy regulations we cannot always share the outcome of an investigation, but every valid report is acted upon. If the issue persists after a week, feel free to follow up on your original report.
